Patrick Burnell
With 25 years of experience at top-tier investment banks and inter-dealer brokers in London and Asia, Patrick has developed deep and widespread investor relations which give Noble Capital unrivalled penetration into the global investor audience.
Prior to joining Noble, he set-up and ran the sub-Saharan Africa desk for the world’s largest inder-dealer broker, TP ICAP, as well as running other high profile divisions such as structured credit derivatives within the group. Patrick previously held high-profile positions at top-flight investment banks such as JP Morgan, Nomura and RBS.
He is a graduate of Cass Business School with a BSc in Banking and International Finance, and is based in London. As Managing Director, Patrick has oversight of group operations and investor relations.

Tom Guest
Tom has more than ten years of financial market experience, and oversees the Group’s Origination and Structuring efforts alongside William, splitting his time between the UK and Africa. He travels widely to develop new business and help manage transactions through to financial close, with a particular interest in the food, agri and energy value chains.
Prior to joining Noble, he was a core member of the senior management team that grew a UK-based FCA-regulated structured commodity trading platform from start-up to a multi-million dollar business. Tom has worked extensively across South East Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.
Tom has a First Class degree (BA & MA) in Classics and Arabic from the University of Oxford, and is an Arabic Speaker.

Olutobi (Ozzie) Osibodu
Olutobi is a UK/Nigerian national, and is the team lead of Noble Capital’s Emerging Markets distribution function. He has experience across multiple disciplines within finance. Olutobi began his career at one of the world leading interdealer brokers, Tullett Prebon Plc (which became TP ICAP).
He was brought in to help set up and establish Tullett Prebon’s first Sub-Saharan African focused FX and Fixed Income Trading desk, trading a multitude of products between local African and international banks. He then played a key role in building out the team to cover the top markets within the continent.
Olutobi the explored private sector financing, leading to the formation of TP ICAP’s first Primary Issuance Distribution desk. The team’s function was to leverage opportunities from regulated corporate finance companies and use broking contacts within the market to raise capital.
After setting up the desk and participating in multiple raises, obtaining commitments to fund 300m USD of debt and equity capital for organisations across sectors such as agribusiness, oil and gas and financial institutions, Olutobi joined Noble Capital to co-lead its distribution function. As a French speaker, Olutobi has also been instrumental in originating business out of the Francophone West African region.
William Otieno

William Otieno
William has worked in financial services across investment banking, transaction and investment management advisory for more than twenty years. He previously worked for leading firms such as UBS and Troika where he advised numerous governments and global blue-chip companies in a range of transactions.
His experience spans corporate finance; mergers, acquisitions and disposals; sovereign wealth and hedge fund set-up and seeding; investment product development and strategy; and corporate restructurings.
Since joining Noble, he has focused on advising African and other emerging markets businesses seeking to raise capital from international sources. He currently co-leads Noble’s Origination and Structuring team that covers the front-end of transaction services including: deal origination; due diligence; transaction structuring; preparation of deal documents such as investment memoranda and financial models; and initial liaison with external financiers.
He holds a LL.B (Hons), LL.M International Commercial Law from Nottingham University and an MBA in Finance and Investments from Universität Stuttgart - SIMT Business School where he was a DaimlerChrysler Scholar.
